Work Schedule: Part time schedule up to 28 hours weekly (flex hours). Monday Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm & rotating Saturday 8:30am to 2:30pm. Schedule will be discussed and set depending on branch needs. Applicant must be able to work within branch hours.


Fulfill meet or exceed all sales and service goals and targets as set by management. 

Deliver quality member service through personal contact with members and prospects.

Promote loans and accepts loan applications, as required. Collects delinquent accounts as required. Performs other duties related to loan processing, as directed by branch management.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, opening new accounts, other new account maintenance, complete and follow procedures, check orders, stop payments, wire transfers, account research, error resolution and product demonstration and other account maintenance such as change of address, adding joint owners, and general account assistance.

Process member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, savings bond redemption, credit card and line-of-credit advances, negotiable instruments coin counting, etc.) presented in the teller lobby, by mail, by night depository, by ATM depository, and by all similar methods. Ensure accuracy of all transaction posting and documentation.

Reconcile and proofs daily transactions, and balance transaction totals to actual cash, checks, and other negotiable items on hand. Research transaction documentation to locate and correct errors and out-of-balance conditions.

Maintain out-of-balance conditions and totals within acceptable limits as established by policy and procedure.

Perform back office cash operations and vault operations as assigned, including ordering cash, verifying cash deliveries and pick-ups, vault balancing, teller box assignment, vault cash disbursements, processing of loose and bulk coin, ATM balancing, night depository transactions, mail transactions, collection items, check proofing, and similar functions.

Knowledge and understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, procedures, processes, teller functions and data processing systems.

Knowledge of financial services industry and current economic conditions.

Knowledge of investment options. 

Must possess effective verbal communication skills and presentation techniques.

Effectively resolve member concerns and diffuse escalations in a positive manner

Communicate well with new employees and trainees and provide guidance and training

High school graduate or equivalent.

At least six months experience in a related field required.
